So many favorite memory about the trip, but only one is my favorite out of them all. It was when I came face to face with Rosas window. Suddenly everything around me vanished. It was just me and the window, and I saw all the beauty in the window. That was my favorite memory of all. ~ Phia
As the blazing sun burns my skin, my eyes melt into the beautiful, well carved window. My dreamy expression expands when my ears hear the perfect name, Rosa's Window.
The feeling of excitement surged through me as I stepped onto the boat and saw a flurry of activity, while divers underneath the smooth glass waved at us, setting salamander traps to deeply increase their knowledge.
As I entered the church door, the first that caught my eye was the delicate gold carvings. I realized how amazing life in a mission was, the ancient artifacts, houses, and friends. --Andy
I leaned closer, trying to take a photo over the glare of my camera, but we passed through the guard fish in a blink of an eye. The boat flashed pass the divers, swimming through, as we gasped in awe when the divers locked traps for an endangered species. ~ Rakshinee S.
As the gooey slime made contact with my fingers, a mix of relief and ewww washed over me at the same time. For some reason the big black bugs, green bugs, or even dead bugs didn't gross me out much. I have to admit some of the looked twisted but otherwise it felt as if a cool wave of calm had just washed over me. Thrilling but calm...
As I opened the church doors laden heavily with carvings, a dank and musty odor poured out.
